NZ Entrepreneur
For the past few weeks I have been working on my NZ entrepreneur in Social Studies. I chose to do Miria Flavell because she designed some clothing to fit all sizes of women. There were obstacles she had to overcome and one of the biggest obstacles Miria had to face was being able to advertise her clothing brand in order to run a successful business in the business industry. She had got the idea because she was frustrated as a kid seeing that activewear only went up to size 14 when she was younger, and when she was growing up she wanted to make activewear for all sizes.

Leadership & Government
Leadership & Government
This term our topic was leadership and government, this topic contains politics, leaders, voting and parties. My understanding of leadership is to help out others to move forward and have the courage as well as aim for success. Democracy is a form of government that allows each community to vote/have a say with who'll be governor. In my eyes, the Government is someone who declares laws/rules and provides for their environment. All of these concepts relate to this topic because they all revolve around parliament. It's similar within our school because they make changes to help us in the future. This topic challenged my thinking because I had no information/knowledge about it. It could help me if I’d like to become one of these forms in the future. In conclusion to sum everything up this topic shows different forms of leaders that help the citizens of our countries.

The Nazis
This week in Social studies we have been researching the 8 events and getting the key information and detailing it. After getting out all the key information we were to put it all in our own words and do a final paragraph at the end where we explain what we had learned. I found out that the decree pretty much removed all freedom such as the freedom of speech, the right to own property and the right to trial before imprisonment. This was thoughtful for me to know and helpful because I got an understanding of what others were going through back in the days. A question that I would like to ask is why they lost their own right to freedom? This is the end of my reflection if you read it all Kia ora!
