Gala Day
On a Friday afternoon there was a Gala down in Auckland, so Thursday morning we made our way down on the bus so on Friday morning we could make the Chowder & Fried Bread. My mum made the Chowder, chopped up the seafood and made the sauce. We made our way to the Gala, put everything up. While setting up we then went up and bought some tickets to go buy and something from other stores. We bought the tickets then headed on over by other stores to buy some food and sweets. After buying some things we went back over by our gazebo to chill out.
That sounds like a cool weekend. Why did you participate in a gala so far away? I bet it is a good way to make some money. Try to add more description in your writing. What can you hear, feel, see, do, taste at the gala?
