Fraction Whole!!

This week for our Maths workshop we had to find answers to solve out problem we got given. After the problems we got given we had to make up 3 of our own. We then had to do an example and explain how to solve it. So I done my 3 and thought it'll help out some people . I hope you enjoy my Google Drawing : )

  1. You seem to have a great understanding of the process to calculate a fraction of a whole number. The one thing that stands out is that you have written your numbers in your fraction around the wrong way e.g 5/4 means five quarters, but I think you mean to say 4/5 which is four fifths
Your problem would then be 4/5 of 20
    20 divided by 5 = 4
    4 x 4 = 16
