Invisible women

These last couple of weeks we have been working on things about how the women were treated back in the olden days. So this week we wrote a poem about in lady back then, and we had a picture of them but never new the name or anything. We had to write about what she looked like, what she was wearing etc. I hope you enjoy : )

Adrenalin Park!!

Every Monday morning we do free writing  for 20 minutes. We can write about anything we want.

Adrenalin Park : )

Early Saturday morning I woke up around 6:30 and ended up going for a run. After that run I went to my nana's house to get ready to go to the Adrenalin Park. While we were at my nans house we were all waiting for the Sliders, Sliders are pretty much mini burgers which are really delicious. The Sliders were then finished and made so we  made our way into the vehicles and  had an upbeat ride especially with the music. In the car we were all hyped and singing really loud, had the speaker turned all the way up and could not wait until we arrived. When we arrived we all jumped out of the excited to go for a swim and have a turn on the challenging obstacles. My aunty had already booked in and had a spot reserved for where we'll be sitting. We took our gear down to where our spot was reserved got our life jackets on and jumped straight in. When we jumped in it was really cold but then we all got used to it and jumped on the obstacle. On the obstacle were a couple of slides the first one was really fun and then we got to this bit where we started bombing. While we're bombing heaps of others started to bomb as well and our manu's were going high as ( a manu is when your jumping backwards kind of in v shape/u shape. ) After a couple of hours we ended up jumping out and getting a feed. 

During Saturday !!!

During Saturday

On Saturday I woke up pretty late like around 9 o clock and decided to relax in bed playing on my iPad, and watching videos. I then jumped out of bed and remembered that the Christmas parade was going to be starting around 11 o clock, so i quickly got changed found me a jersey and waited till we were going. Sitting down and waiting was pretty boring but then my friends papa drove over to see if I wanted to go with them so then I said yes sprinted down to my room to get a jersey walked over to his house and off we went. Arriving in Kawakawa was pretty funny because we were driving around finding a parking spot then someone else would take it. We finally found a parking and got in before anyone else did. Jumping out of the vehicle was a success we walked around and heard our school performing so we ran to them and watched then  decided to go to get a hersheys bar. After the parade we went to Paihia bought some ice-cream and a smoothie.

I decided to write about this because I couldn't think of anything else to write about and also I had a good Saturday spending time with my friend. This wasn't exactly hard to write about but then again it wasn't  exactly the easiest because I couldn't find the right words to put in this.

Penni Wynyard !!

Early Saturday morning I woke up feeling good and happy, I then jumped out of bed getting ready to go support my sister and them at Otiria marae for Penni Wynyard challenge. We then got picked up by our cousin and her dad to drop us off at the marae for the powhiri. Once we arrived at the marae we walked over by there friends and had a little korero which was really funny. While we were at the marae we had to go get ready to do Hei runga Hei raro to let Motatau people come in. They got into the marae sat themselves down then we done taumata. After all that we got our uncle to pick us up and take us back home, so that we could get ready to play netball Otiria vs Motatau. The first team we had up for netball was mixed which was everyone, then the oldies which was like 35+, after the oldies we had the kids playing which was 12 year olds down and the 13 year old up to 18. While the kids were playing I couldn't wait till after because the next netball team was like the really good team that are actually in a netball team for like tournaments which was a very interesting game to watch.

I chose to write about this because that Saturday was a really fun day. While I was writing i kind of found it hard to write about because I couldn't really think on what we done that day. The thing I found easy was that I lnew what order to write it in.

In a dream

Blog writing is something we do every Monday's and just pick anything to write about. We just pick anything to write about, it could be about what we done in the weekend pictures from our drive or from a site called pobble365. On pobble365 we look for photos on that site to write about what we see or think that's gonna happen in that photo. It is something we get timed on for 20 minutes.

Once upon a time I had dream about having a flying car, and flying off to Bora Bora. I flew off to Bora bora with some friends and Family it was as if we were on a private jet. While we were on the "flying car" we were starting to wiggle because we were getting ready to land, and ended up having a smooth landing. Up & out of the car we get grabbing our gears heading to our rooms t relax for a little while. Sitting in our room, relaxing and eating some food so that we could get used to it. Going for swims and jumping off the deck was so fun and the water being so clear felt just like being in heaven. It felt like a dream come true until I woke up looking at myself in the mirror looking all tragic then i just laughed.  

BUOYANCY !!

This is what me and my friends have been working on for a couple of weeks, we have been learning about buoyancy and why things float and sink. Anything that has quite a lot of air inside is the things that float, and the things that sink is what doesn't have any air in it at all or just a little bit.

RAINBOWS END !!!

During this moment I was feeling really good and happy while I was surrounded by a bunch of friends.
While we were at Rainbows end we all decided to split into groups or pairs and go on the rides in our
groups or pairs. We then all ended up seeing each other on the same ride which was the log flume,
then we split back up again. After the log flume we decided to go on to the invader which is a really
really fun ride but yet scary as well as the stratosphere. When we were on the stratosphere I was
trying to let go when we were flipping around then I finally got it, but I couldn't stop laughing. On the
stratosphere I was really trying to not laugh or smile to make it look like I wasn't getting butterflies but
I couldn't because it was to ticklish. While we were on the stratosphere I was starting to get sick on
the last couple of times I went on because i finished a feed and really wanted to go on.
