Penni Wynyard !!

Early Saturday morning I woke up feeling good and happy, I then jumped out of bed getting ready to go support my sister and them at Otiria marae for Penni Wynyard challenge. We then got picked up by our cousin and her dad to drop us off at the marae for the powhiri. Once we arrived at the marae we walked over by there friends and had a little korero which was really funny. While we were at the marae we had to go get ready to do Hei runga Hei raro to let Motatau people come in. They got into the marae sat themselves down then we done taumata. After all that we got our uncle to pick us up and take us back home, so that we could get ready to play netball Otiria vs Motatau. The first team we had up for netball was mixed which was everyone, then the oldies which was like 35+, after the oldies we had the kids playing which was 12 year olds down and the 13 year old up to 18. While the kids were playing I couldn't wait till after because the next netball team was like the really good team that are actually in a netball team for like tournaments which was a very interesting game to watch.

I chose to write about this because that Saturday was a really fun day. While I was writing i kind of found it hard to write about because I couldn't really think on what we done that day. The thing I found easy was that I lnew what order to write it in.

In a dream

Blog writing is something we do every Monday's and just pick anything to write about. We just pick anything to write about, it could be about what we done in the weekend pictures from our drive or from a site called pobble365. On pobble365 we look for photos on that site to write about what we see or think that's gonna happen in that photo. It is something we get timed on for 20 minutes.

Once upon a time I had dream about having a flying car, and flying off to Bora Bora. I flew off to Bora bora with some friends and Family it was as if we were on a private jet. While we were on the "flying car" we were starting to wiggle because we were getting ready to land, and ended up having a smooth landing. Up & out of the car we get grabbing our gears heading to our rooms t relax for a little while. Sitting in our room, relaxing and eating some food so that we could get used to it. Going for swims and jumping off the deck was so fun and the water being so clear felt just like being in heaven. It felt like a dream come true until I woke up looking at myself in the mirror looking all tragic then i just laughed.  

BUOYANCY !!

This is what me and my friends have been working on for a couple of weeks, we have been learning about buoyancy and why things float and sink. Anything that has quite a lot of air inside is the things that float, and the things that sink is what doesn't have any air in it at all or just a little bit.

RAINBOWS END !!!

During this moment I was feeling really good and happy while I was surrounded by a bunch of friends.
While we were at Rainbows end we all decided to split into groups or pairs and go on the rides in our
groups or pairs. We then all ended up seeing each other on the same ride which was the log flume,
then we split back up again. After the log flume we decided to go on to the invader which is a really
really fun ride but yet scary as well as the stratosphere. When we were on the stratosphere I was
trying to let go when we were flipping around then I finally got it, but I couldn't stop laughing. On the
stratosphere I was really trying to not laugh or smile to make it look like I wasn't getting butterflies but
I couldn't because it was to ticklish. While we were on the stratosphere I was starting to get sick on
the last couple of times I went on because i finished a feed and really wanted to go on.

Long O sound : )

This is mine and my friends spelling we had to do for the week. The first thing we had to do was to listen to the dictation our teacher puts on the spelling slide we go on to check what we do ( she does a voice recording. ) Then we had to write our own sentence with the long o sound but it had to be silly.

Waterfalls : )

Waterfalls

On a Sunday afternoon me and my friend was messaging each other to see what each of us was doing. She then ended up walking over to my house ( because we are only next door neighbors ) to ask if I wanted to go to the waterfalls with her. I decided to go with her so then I had to quickly rush and get my gear ready so that i wasn't wasting to much time. We then headed off and decided to walk because it wasn't to far away.  We got to the waterfalls and went for a swim, and started jumping off the rocks which was really really really fun. Me and my friend decided to go higher and higher so we started off on rock that wasn't to high that frighten us but we had to check where we had to jump. I was a bit to scared to check because i wasn't to sure on what was on the ground but I was laughing at the same time. Through that time at the waterfalls we did go for a walk around to be nosy. It was an enjoyable day there and I cannot wait to go there more often.

Every Monday we sit down in our classrooms for 20 minutes of silent and do blog writing. 

Climate change !!

This is a reading activity me and my friend was working on. We had to get ten facts about the story we read that was called Climate change. Climate change is something very dangerous for us as well as it  controls the weather such as hot and cold. Climate change means understanding the greenhouse effect a natural process that keeps our planet warm.
